History

The site started off in early 2006 amidst all the Wii speculation, and back then was first known as NGamer. The NGamer site was short lived and the site was redesigned and rebranded as Wii Network. Up to this point the site was still located at a free domain. The site was redesigned yet again and the wii-network.co.uk domain name was bought in January 2007, to mark the official opening of Wii Network after it had gone through the preliminary testing and design stages.


Our Goal

Our goal is to deliver up to the minute Wii news as well as previews, reviews, media and special features. In essence, we want to achieve complete comprehensive coverage of anything and everything Wii, making this site the first stop for all Wii owners. We strive to make the site as accessible as possible to all audiences through quality content and a clean and easy to use interface.


Staff

Nima Al-Shakarchi - Nima is the founder of Wii Network and single handedly built and designed the site. His role is to maintain the site, i.e. run and modify the backend of the site, and also to update the featured content on the home page. He frequently writes news, previews, reviews and featured content for the site working tirelessly to improve the website on a day-to-day basis.
